ORIGINAL MUPPET BABIES CELS

If you're looking for 

Muppet Babies news,

then you should probably know that

we recently moved into the new space

Oddbot 

set up for us!

It's a 

KILLER

studio with lots of room

and nice views.

Except the walls are a little bare.

Enter

THE MUPPET STUDIO

to save the day!

They gave us some great stuff to hang on the walls,

including some

ORIGINAL CELS

from the 

ORIGINAL

MUPPET BABIES SHOW!

Here are some that I picked:

Most of these are from the episode

COMIC CAPERS,

specifically the part where they spoof

the French Foreign Legion 

comic strip

CROCK.

Pretty much all the cels are stuck to their 

corresponding drawing,

But that's not unusual for cels that have been 

sitting in a box fir years and years.

But I did find one or two loose drawings:

Love seeing all the timing charts and color mark ups:

I also grabbed a chunk of

original

exposure sheets.

These were the blueprints 

sent to the overseas studios

to tell them how the animation should work out

from frame to frame.

Note the Korean translation

next to each instruction.

Each horizontal row is 

ONE FRAME

of film,

24 frames making up

ONE SECOND.

I entered the business right at the tail end

of cel animation.

And to be honest,

I don't miss it.

It's time consuming,

wasteful, messy,

and leveling paint is a nightmare.

But I still love seeing 

real cels!
