SAMURAI JACK STYLE

So ya liked that post about the

So why don't we check out
another one:

Aaaaaw yeah...
SAMURAI JACK!

This one doesn't have an actual book.
I doubt many style guides even have a physical package these days.
They're probably all up on a cloud.

But this one's on
a good old fashioned CD

There's still lost of cool
artwork on it:

The backgrounds on this show were
always stunning
and there are plenty of
examples:

Is this stuff amazing?
Yes, it is.

And as a sooper bonus
here are a couple of answers
to a couple of folks
who had had a
couple of questions:

Q: Where can I get one of those style guides, yo?

A: Ya can't-- unless you were a licensed vendor for that show.
It's kinda possible that you could doubtfully maybe find one on ebay or something.
But I would't count on it.

Q: Did Codename: Kids Next Door have a style guide?

A:  YES!  It was designed to look like a sandwich in a ziplock bag.
When you opened the sandwich there were top secret data disks with
KND style information on them.

Q: Dude! That sounds cool!  Can we see one?

A: YES!  If I ever find one within the
massive KND secret storage facility.
(aka my garage)

Hooray for style guides!

  2. Hey Tom, looks like Sony Pictures Animation, the studio that "Samurai Jack" Genndy Tartakovsky now works for, is making a movie based on the show, as promised by Genndy himself, according to this whois record:https://www.markmonitor.com/cgi-bin/affsearch.cgi?dn=samuraijack-movie.com&partner=yes&return=https%253A%252F%252Fcorp.markmonitor.com%252Findex.ald%253Ftab2name%253Ddomain%2526sub2name%253Ddomregistration%2526sub%253Dregistration%2526sub2name%253Ddomregistration&iframe=true&width=800&height=500
