There's eleventy billion things to do at Comic-Con every year.
But Cartoon Network only has their 20th anniversary once every 8 years or so.
So how did you celebrate that at Comic-Con?
By having a whole bunch of artists paint their
own interpretations
of Cartoon Network shows and then hanging them up in a gallery.
And we had to see it!
So me, Maxwell Atoms and former high powered CN executives
Jay Bastian and Jeff Prezenkowski made our way out to the
Jett Gallery in San Diego to check it out.
Here's what we saw:
Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends:
Dexter's Laboratory:
Adventure Time:
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy:
Camp Lazlo:
Regular Show:
Courage The Cowardly Dog:
And...
annoyingly...
there was no Codename: Kids Next Door painting
(um... thanks Mr. Curator)
But we did get represented in one of the best paintngs in the gallery
MONKEYS VS ROBOTS:
Who knew Cartoon Network had SO MANY
monkeys and SO MANY robots?!
To make sense of the brawl,
there was even a key to the painting:
In this detail you can see
Rainbow Monkey Kong wrassling with MEGAS:
And here are the Rainbow Monkeys
hugging Titan to death
(with love):
All in all CN had over 100 artists do their thing.
So maybe there's some KND somewhere.
Maybe?
Anyway...
if you're in San Diego area,
go check this out!

Oh...
and don't forget to say
Happy Birthday to me today!
