SECOND ANNUAL TVA & DTS SONORA SPEEDWAY!

The Earth rotated a little faster last Friday

because of the 

Second Annual 

Walt Disney Television Animation 

and 

Disney Toon Studios

Sonora Speedway

Event!

You heard about the first one over

HERE...

But this one was 

FASTER

FURIOUSER

FUNNER

and

STILL

%$#@!*

ELEVENTY THOUSAND

DEGREES CELSIUS

on the surface of that parking lot!

Fortunately there was plenty of shade,

drinks, slushies and even a couple fans to cool things down.

But there was no cooling down

the cars this year.

They were

The course this year was simpler;

No perilous jumps or bridges covered in skulls,

just a big figure eight 

built for speed!

There were also churros:

This year,

instead of individual time trials,

the cars were timed in four car heats.

Three laps as fast as you can go!

The 7-D's

entry was piloted by none other than

Storyboard Revision 

soopuh star

David Shair:

It went down like this:

After that horrible crash we finished the race without most of our car and failed to make it into the top 8.

But the race 

roared on

into the semi-finals.

The Finals 

came down to

Penn Zero's Car,

TVA Casting and Music Department's entry,

Disney Toon Studio's

Shadow Hunter

(which could spew ball bearing out the back to foil other cars)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaand...

I don't know whose that last car was.

In the end it was

The Shadow Hunter

that won it all!
