SKETCHBOOK COVERS THROUGH THE AGES
(part 2: apres college and the KND years)

If you liked part one
of my
SKETCHBOOK COVERS THROUGH THE AGES
post then
THROW YER HANDS AYER!

Thank you.

So let's check out
the covers of my
sketchbooks
after I got out of college.

But here's the thing.
When I started working in animation in 1990,
I didn't really draw in sketchbooks anymore.

I was so busy drawing for work,
and doing freelance at night
that I barely doodled for doodle sake.

There were only a couple in
almost a decade!

I did a post of this next one over

But then doodles started happening again
(I did a post about this red one over HERE):

But when writing for
Codename: Kids  Next Door
I started doodling less and wording more
It started in these
dumb notebooks.
We talked about this next one over

These books contained mostly
writing with a smattering of ball point pen
drawings.

But eventually I started using real
sketchbooks again:

Have a peek inside of this next one

This sketchbook finished as we were winding down
production on KND.
It's filled with all sorts of melancholy
 musing on the show:

Want more?

No?

Well, forget you.
There's more coming next post!

Yay! More Sketch book covers! I especially like the KND stickers ^^ How did you come across them all, were they the kind put in those sticker vending machines? (p.s, show more stuff inside them sometime! :D)
